You MUST have a good set of knives.  With all the chopping and cutting you do while you’re preparing your favorite dish, a proper set of knives makes all the difference.

CAST IRON SKILLET

A cast iron skillet could possibly change your life.  I am OBSESSED with corn bread stuffing and always use a cast iron skillet for cooking it.  For searing meat, chicken or fish, a cast iron skillet makes all the difference in taste.  The most important thing for YOU to remember about a Cast Iron Skillet is that it must be properly seasoned.  Remember when cleaning a cast iron skillet the rule of thumb is to never use soap or steel wool; and never ever place it in the dishwasher. If you want to clean it while it’s still warm, carefully wipe it out with a soft wet sponge and dry it immediately. With a little extra love that cast iron skillet will be with you forever.
